ECAS is an independent certification body in De Lier, part of MPS Group, specialising in the horticultural supply chain. It conducts audits focused on sustainability and food safety, certifying against MPS schemes, GLOBALG.A.P., PlanetProof, Fair Produce, BRCGS Food and ISO standards. ECAS serves growers of vegetables, ornamental plants, fruit and flower bulbs, nationally and internationally. Its independence is safeguarded by an expert committee overseeing impartiality. It is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council for system and product certification. ECAS provides specialist certification for horticultural businesses that want to demonstrate sustainability and quality.
