NHG Praktijk Accreditering B.V.

NHG Praktijk Accreditering (NPA) is the Utrecht-based certification body for general practices. NPA was founded by the Dutch College of General Practitioners as a non-profit private limited company. More than 70% of Dutch GPs work in a practice with the NPA quality mark. The accreditation was developed together with the profession: GPs, practice assistants and patient representatives contribute to the standards. This makes the quality mark specific to general practice, rather than a generic ISO standard.
