The Ministry of Defence is looking for a Quality Officer for the Materiel Logistics Command Land, within the Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment & Security team. You will design, implement and maintain ISO management systems, translate standards into practice and initiate improvements. You will also conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits.
What will you do?
- Designing, implementing and maintaining ISO management systems in accordance with the High Level Structure
- Translating ISO standards into practical working methods, guidelines and tools
- Identifying bottlenecks in processes and initiating improvement measures
- Monitoring the progress of improvement measures
- Establishing document control and ensuring its alignment with the quality management system
- Initiating and conducting internal audits of management systems
- Preparing for and supporting external audits
- Promoting support for and awareness of the management systems within the organisation
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO)
- Extensive experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001
- Experience translating standards into a practical management system
- Experience as an auditor, preferably as a lead auditor
- Substantive knowledge of document control
- Analytical ability to assess processes and bottlenecks
- Knowledge of technical and logistics processes
- You are flexible, proactive, communicatively skilled and focused on networking and continuous improvement
