About this vacancy
The Quality Engineer works within an organisation involved in the engineering, production and assembly of complex sheet metal products. You monitor and improve the quality of products and processes, work with OEM customers and help manage the quality policy as the KAM coordinator.
What will you do?
- Drawing up and monitoring inspection plans, procedures and regulations
- Supervising the correct handling of 8D reports
- Initiating quality improvements
- Managing and establishing the quality policy
- Fulfilling the role of KAM coordinator
- Preparing monthly reports
- Discussing reports with relevant departments and stakeholders
- Optimising quality requirements in cooperation with OEM customers
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) qualification in technical business administration or mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of sheet metalworking, welding processes, welding standards and coating processes
- Experience with Operational Excellence and Lean is an advantage
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
- German is an advantage
