At VDL Laktechniek B.V., the Quality Manager has overall responsibility for quality policy and the further professionalisation of the quality management system. You will manage three quality employees, support audits and advise management on quality issues and improvements.
What will you do?
- Supporting internal and external audits, reporting findings and following up on actions
- Initiating improvement projects and taking corrective and preventive measures
- Promoting quality awareness throughout the organisation
- Advising the management team and executive management on quality issues
- Reformulating quality procedures and work instructions together with work preparation
- Monitoring compliance with the quality assurance system
- Allocating work within the quality department
- Managing three quality employees
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or a comparable technical discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in quality management within a production or industrial environment
- Knowledge of quality management systems and experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Experience with 8D, FMEA, root cause analyses and continuous improvement
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage colleagues and stakeholders in improvement initiatives
- Committed and meticulous
