About this vacancy
Randstad is recruiting a quality specialist for a temporary position in a factory environment. You will monitor materials, production processes and finished products, handle complaints and carry out audits of quality procedures and work instructions.
What will you do?
- Inspecting materials and checking production processes on the shop floor
- Investigating the causes of process and material defects
- Proposing and implementing structural improvements
- Investigating claims and returns
- Deciding whether to approve or reject claims and returns
- Carrying out audits of compliance with quality procedures and work instructions
- Maintaining, setting up and calibrating measuring instruments
- Liaising with production, logistics, procurement and external suppliers
What do they ask?
- You are available to work 40 hours per week
- You are willing to work in Rotterdam
- You have a good command of Dutch
- You have a good command of English
- You have at least secondary vocational education (MBO) working and thinking level
- You have knowledge of health and safety, occupational health, environmental and quality regulations
- You work independently and can set priorities
- You communicate tactfully and carefully when handling complaints
