The QHSE Coordinator works for an organisation that builds fire engines and monitors and improves its quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental policy. The role involves managing the KAM policy in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and VCA, carrying out internal audits and coordinating external audits. In addition, the coordinator advises colleagues and management and translates policy into daily practice.
What will you do?
- Monitor, implement and improve the quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental policy
- Manage and improve the KAM policy in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and VCA
- Carry out internal audits
- Coordinate external audits
- Identify risks and opportunities in the areas of safety and the environment
- Draw up procedures, work instructions and reports
- Advise and support colleagues and management on KAM matters
- Promote safety awareness and translate policy into daily practice
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in a technical discipline
- Several years of experience as a KAM Coordinator or in a comparable role
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to safety, the environment and quality
- Able to work analytically and independently
- Able to communicate easily with all levels of the organisation
- MVK diploma or willingness to obtain one
- Command of the Dutch language
