About this vacancy
As a Certification Engineer, you lead certification programmes for active fire protection systems, such as sprinklers, water mist, gaseous extinguishing systems, foam and oxygen reduction. You conduct audits, inspections and tests, attend fire tests, report on the results and contribute to the quality system.
What will you do?
- Leading certification programmes for active fire protection systems.
- Conducting audits, inspections and tests at customers’ sites and test facilities.
- Attending fire tests.
- Preparing audit, test and inspection plans.
- Writing well-founded reports for customers and internal files.
- Monitoring the progress, quality and planning of certification programmes.
- Carrying out technical assessments.
- Contributing to the maintenance of the quality system.
What do they ask?
- Completed technical higher professional education (HBO).
- At least two years’ relevant work experience in fire safety or a certification environment.
- Sprinkler Technician I diploma.
- Additional diplomas in gaseous extinguishing systems, foam or water mist are an advantage.
- Experience with product certification or CE marking.
- Affinity with auditing and a willingness to obtain Lead Auditor certification.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Good writing skills and a willingness to travel internationally.
