About this vacancy
The HSE Adviser works for Bilfinger België & Nederland in industrial and technical environments. You advise management, project teams and operations on health, safety and environmental matters and translate HSE policy into practice. Your responsibilities include carrying out risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
What will you do?
- Advising management, project teams and operations on HSE issues
- Implementing and monitoring HSE policies, procedures and standards
- Identifying risks and carrying out risk assessments, including RI&E’s
- Carrying out audits, inspections and workplace rounds
- Investigating incidents and carrying out root-cause analyses
- Preparing HSE plans and project documentation and initiating improvements
- Providing training, toolbox talks and safety instructions
- Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance and improvement actions
What do they ask?
- Completed education in safety management, such as MVK, HVK or equivalent
- Experience as an HSE Adviser in industrial or technical environments
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations and HSE management systems
- Experience with audits, inspections and incident investigations
- You are independent and persuasive
- You can switch between strategy and operations
- You can engage others in safe behaviour
