VDL HMI is looking for a QHSE Coordinator to manage quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental policy within a technical manufacturing company. You will manage the quality and environmental systems, support audits, and initiate improvement measures and sustainability projects.
What will you do?
- Managing the entire quality policy
- Developing and managing quality and environmental systems
- Supporting internal and external audits and reporting on the findings
- Launching improvement projects
- Implementing corrective and preventive measures
- Managing the quality department, with three employees in the measuring room and one welding coordinator
- Working on technical, quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental matters
- Promoting quality awareness within the organisation
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification in a technical field
- Experience in engineering; knowledge of metalworking is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to occupational health and safety and the environment
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and system management
- Ability to set priorities and motivate others
- Positive, persistent, structured and analytical approach to work
- Good command of Dutch and English
