VDL HMI is looking for a QHSE Manager to lead quality, safety, health and environmental management within a technical manufacturing company with approximately 100 employees. You will manage the quality and environmental systems, support audits and promote improvements and quality awareness throughout the organisation.
What will you do?
- Leading the overall quality policy
- Developing and managing quality and environmental systems
- Supporting internal and external audits and reporting on findings
- Launching improvement projects
- Implementing corrective and preventive measures
- Managing the quality department, with three employees in the measurement room and one welding coordinator
- Contributing to sustainability topics such as the CO2-Prestatieladder, MKI and CSRD
- Promoting quality awareness throughout the organisation
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification in a technical field
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing; knowledge of metalworking is an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to occupational health and safety and the environment
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and systems management
- Ability to set priorities and motivate others
- Positive, persistent, structured and analytical approach
- Good command of Dutch and English
