Van den Burg Eiproducten, part of Interovo Egg Group, is looking for a Quality Manager for the production site in Waalwijk. You will develop and safeguard the quality management system, guide the quality team and be responsible for quality and food safety issues, audits and improvements.
What will you do?
- Further develop and safeguard the quality management system
- Monitor compliance with legislation and regulations, certification standards and customer requirements
- Guide, coach and manage the QC laboratory and the QA Specialist
- Act as the point of contact for quality and food safety for employees, customers, auditors and supervisory authorities
- Prepare, guide and follow up FSSC 22000, GMP+, NVWA and customer audits
- Carry out and follow up internal audits
- Investigate complaints and non-conformities and implement structural improvements
- Chair the HACCP team and report to the management as a member of the management team
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in food technology or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in QA or quality assurance within the food industry
- Knowledge of HACCP, quality management systems and audits
- Experience with FSSC 22000 and GMP+ is an advantage
- Practical approach and the ability to translate quality requirements into workable solutions on the production floor
- Good command of Dutch and English; German is an advantage
- Eager to learn, proactive, analytical, independent, approachable, convincing, pragmatic and people-oriented
- Able to guide colleagues and build connections between different departments
