About this vacancy
The QHSE Coordinator works from Tilburg to coordinate, improve and embed safety within an organisation working on tomorrow’s energy network. You translate the safety strategy into site-specific objectives, investigate incidents and advise management, colleagues and contractors on working safely.
What will you do?
- Coordinate, promote and improve safety at the site
- Translate the safety strategy into improvement objectives and implementation plans
- Analyse safety issues and take proactive measures
- Investigate unsafe situations, trends and incidents
- Coach and advise management
- Provide colleagues with feedback on working safely
- Ensure visibility on the shop floor during incidents
- Maintain contact with KAM colleagues of contractors and carry out building-related RI&E’s
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO), preferably in Safety Management (HVK)
- At least 3 to 5 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role
- Preferably experience in a technical environment or underground infrastructure
- Strong coaching and communication skills
- Ability to motivate people with different educational backgrounds
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends
- Command of Dutch
