About this vacancy
The QHSE Officer safeguards and improves quality, health, safety and the environment within a logistics organisation with multiple locations. You develop QHSE policy, carry out internal quality audits, prepare for the annual ISO audit and coordinate RI&E and BHV activities, among others. The role is based in Heerenveen, with regular work in Waalwijk, and reports to the Operations Director.
What will you do?
- Developing and implementing QHSE policy for all locations
- Monitoring compliance with legislation and regulations
- Carrying out internal quality audits
- Preparing for the annual ISO audit
- Managing the annual quality plan and associated documentation
- Updating the RI&E and supporting preventive measures
- Coordinating BHV activities and evacuation drills
- Preparing CSRD reports and supporting ESG guidelines
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO)
- Demonstrable experience in a similar QHSE or compliance role
- Experience in logistics is preferred
- Practical knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems and safety procedures
- Experience with RI&E and preventive tasks in the workplace
- Affinity with sustainability and ESG topics, or willingness to actively learn about them
- You can work independently and maintain documentation carefully
- Good communication skills and the ability to get colleagues enthusiastic about safety
