About this vacancy
As a QHSE Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and improving QHSE policy within a logistics organisation with multiple locations. You will conduct internal quality audits, prepare for the annual ISO audit and coordinate activities relating to RI&E, emergency response, sustainability and ESG. The position is based in Heerenveen, with regular work in Waalwijk.
What will you do?
- Developing and implementing QHSE policy for multiple locations
- Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations
- Conducting internal quality audits
- Preparing for the annual ISO audit
- Managing the annual quality plan and the associated documentation
- Updating the RI&E and overseeing preventive measures
- Coordinating emergency response activities and evacuation drills
- Preparing CSRD reports and supporting ESG guidelines
What do they ask?
- You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) qualification
- You have demonstrable experience in a comparable QHSE or compliance role
- Experience within logistics is preferred
- You have practical knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems and safety procedures
- You have experience with RI&E and preventive tasks in the workplace
- You have an affinity with sustainability and ESG, or are willing to actively learn about these subjects
- You can work independently and document information accurately
- You have good communication skills and can inspire colleagues to focus on safety
