The Senior QHSE Advisor leads Yokogawa’s European QHSE function across 18 countries and manages more than 20 professionals. You are responsible for the integrated management system, certification, audits, risk management and improvement in the areas of quality, safety, the environment and information security.
What will you do?
- Developing and leading the European QHSE strategy and annual plans.
- Managing more than 20 QHSE professionals across Europe.
- Developing and continuously improving the integrated management system.
- Maintaining certification within the agreed scope and leading management reviews.
- Improving process performance, customer satisfaction and the quality of products and services.
- Leading regional programmes for safety, health and environmental performance.
- Coordinating information security governance within the management system.
- Establishing the audit strategy, conducting internal audits and preparing for certification and customer audits.
What do they ask?
- At least 8 years’ experience in QHSE, integrated management systems or a comparable compliance role.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a management role across multiple countries or locations.
- At least 5 years’ experience of directly managing a geographically dispersed team.
- Experience in industrial automation, the process industry, engineering or a comparable operational environment.
- Practical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and integrating or managing ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
- Experience with certification, audit programmes, incident investigations and corrective actions.
- A degree in engineering, quality, occupational safety, environmental management or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English and a willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
