About this vacancy
The Compliance Specialist works for an organisation that trades and distributes consumer products. You monitor legislation, regulations and quality requirements, check product and supplier information, and help customers and colleagues with questions about regulations and quality.
What will you do?
- Monitoring legislation and regulations
- Checking whether products and suppliers meet requirements
- Collecting and checking certificates, product information and supplier declarations
- Answering customers’ and colleagues’ questions about products, quality and regulations
- Translating complex rules into practical applications within the organisation
- Working with Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain and Product Management
- Reporting to the Quality Manager
What do they ask?
- Completed degree in law at higher professional education (HBO) or university level
- An interest in legislation and regulations, quality and products
- Experience in compliance, QA or Regulatory Affairs is an advantage
- Graduates with relevant placement experience are welcome
- Able to work accurately and research information
- Able to explain complex rules clearly
- Good communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Good command of Dutch and English, and knowledge of Microsoft Office
