Hanab Pipelines & Utilities is looking for an HSE Adviser to ensure safety, health and environmental standards within projects and operational processes. You will support the development and implementation of HSE policy, carry out inspections and audits, and provide advice on risks, improvement actions, and compliance with legislation and regulations.
What will you do?
- Implementing and maintaining HSE management documents, procedures, instructions and guidelines.
- Preparing incident investigations and analysing incidents, near misses and hazardous situations.
- Organising risk inventories and evaluations and keeping the RI&E up to date.
- Carrying out risk assessments and preparing preventive measures.
- Supporting projects with HSE advice, HSE plans and work plans.
- Providing internal and external safety instructions and presentations.
- Carrying out and reporting on safety inspections and audits in implementation and operational processes.
- Providing advice on HSE, improvement actions, environmental awareness and compliance with HSE legislation and regulations.
What do they ask?
- Secondary vocational education (MBO) level of working and thinking, with a specialisation to MVK level.
- At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a comparable role in the field of safety, health and the environment.
- An affinity with safety, sustainability and the environment.
- Experience with HSE aspects of major projects in the oil and gas industry or related industries.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining an HSE management system.
- Knowledge of and experience with BRL 7000 and protocols 7001, 7004, 7005 and 7007.
- Knowledge of and experience with operational HSE management at construction sites.
- Experience with managing and evaluating the HSE performance of subcontractors.
