UZIN UTZ Nederland is looking for an HSE Adviser for the chemical production environment in Haaksbergen. You will establish safety systems, carry out the RI&E, advise management and employees, and work towards a mature safety culture in the areas of working conditions, health and the environment.
What will you do?
- Establish safety and health systems and ensure that agreements are applied in practice.
- Carry out the RI&E and keep it up to date.
- Draw up improvement plans together with management.
- Advise on working conditions, safety, health and the environment.
- Carry out workplace inspections and safety rounds.
- Assess risks relating to machine safety, hazardous substances, BHV, change management and internal transport.
- Coach colleagues and create support for a proactive safety culture.
- Prepare advice and reports and work with the board, managers, production, the warehouse and the QESH department.
What do they ask?
- A completed IVK or MVK qualification; a completed HVK qualification is an advantage.
- Experience as a safety specialist.
- Experience working for a manufacturing company; experience in the chemical industry is an advantage.
- Good collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Problem-solving and results-oriented abilities.
- A proactive, accurate and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and powers of persuasion.
- Excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of German or English is an advantage.
