VDL HMI is looking for a QHSE Manager for its location in Helmond. You will be part of the management team and responsible for quality policy and for technical, quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental matters. You will manage management systems, support audits, initiate improvements and lead the quality department.
What will you do?
- Developing and managing quality and environmental systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090
- Developing and managing sustainability aspects, including the CO2 Performance Ladder, MKI and CSRD
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Reporting audit findings and following up on actions
- Initiating improvement projects
- Taking corrective and preventive measures
- Managing the quality department, with three colleagues in the measurement room and one welding coordinator
- Promoting quality awareness within the organisation
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification in a technical field
- Experience in engineering; experience in metalworking is an advantage
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to occupational health and safety and the environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 1090
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and system management
- You can set priorities and motivate others
- You are positive, persistent, organised, analytical and results-oriented
- Good command of Dutch and English
