The QHSE Engineer carries out SHE activities within an organisation in Heerlen and monitors compliance with and improvement of environmental and safety processes. The role includes audits, inspections, documentation management, monitoring environmental measures and supporting improvement programmes.
What will you do?
- Carrying out and monitoring SHE activities at the site
- Carrying out SHE audits and inspections
- Reporting on findings
- Monitoring and optimising SHE processes
- Contributing to improvement projects
- Managing environmental documentation
- Maintaining environmental and safety records
- Monitoring environmental measures and supporting the maintenance and modification of installations
What do they ask?
- You have relevant work experience in SHE or QHSE
- You have knowledge of ISO 14001
- You have knowledge of relevant environmental legislation
- You are able to carry out and follow up audits and inspections in a structured manner
- You communicate clearly
- You are able to prepare clear reports
- You have a good command of Dutch
- You have a higher professional education (HBO) qualification
