About this vacancy
The QHSE Manager develops, improves, coordinates and implements the QHSE policy throughout the organisation from Alblasserdam. You maintain the QHSE management system, monitor risks, plans and KPIs, and carry out internal and external audits. The role also includes following up on incidents and liaising with external parties about audits and permits.
What will you do?
- Developing, improving, coordinating and implementing the QHSE policy
- Identifying risks and translating them into a multi-year plan with objectives, actions and budgets
- Developing and maintaining a practical QHSE management system
- Monitoring the progress of the QHSE plan and the KPIs
- Discussing objectives and KPIs with various departments
- Carrying out internal and external audits and coordinating improvement programmes
- Following up on incidents with corrective and preventive actions
- Maintaining contact with external parties about audits and permits
What do they ask?
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree in Chemical Technology, Industrial Engineering and Management or Safety Science
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
- Analytical, abstract and conceptual thinking skills
- Flexible, organised and proactive attitude
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Dutch
