The QHSE Manager develops, implements and improves the QHSE policy for an organisation in the industrial packaging and bespoke logistics sector. The role includes managing the QHSE system, safeguarding certifications, coordinating audits and reporting on QHSE and ESG performance for the site in Borculo and other sites.
What will you do?
- Developing, implementing and continuously improving the QHSE policy and associated processes.
- Managing and improving the policy for quality, occupational health and safety, the environment and safety.
- Implementing a new QHSE system and advising on suitable tools.
- Maintaining the business management system.
- Safeguarding PEFC, ISPM 15 and ISO 9001 certifications.
- Coordinating internal, external and cross-audits in accordance with 6 S.
- Supporting prevention officers and working with production managers and operations managers.
- Investigating incidents, managing NCR records and 8D analyses, and monitoring improvement measures.
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) working and thinking level, preferably in a technical or safety-related field.
- At least five years’ experience in QHSE, preferably in a production environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience with audit processes and improvement projects.
- Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, 6 S and 8 D.
- Strong communication skills and an assertive, advisory approach.
- Able to work in a straightforward, no-nonsense and results-oriented manner.
- Available for 36 to 40 hours per week and willing to visit other sites.
