The QHSE Manager is responsible for establishing, managing and continuously improving the quality, safety, health and environmental policy. The role focuses on activities in Heerewaarden and on developing a uniform QESH approach across multiple production sites. The manager harmonises processes and standards, oversees audits and certifications and helps build a QESH team.
What will you do?
- Establishing, managing and continuously improving the quality, safety, health and environmental policy
- Designing and implementing a division-wide QESH management system
- Harmonising procedures, standards and KPIs between sites
- Overseeing audits, certifications and RI&E processes
- Supporting hygiene rounds, ATP measurements and validations
- Coordinating complaint handling and carrying out trend analyses
- Initiating improvement projects based on, among other things, PDCA and 5S
- Building the QESH team and a strong safety culture together with the Safety Officer
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level of working and thinking
- Experience with quality or safety management within the food, biotech or raw materials sectors
- Knowledge of HACCP, Skal, ISO/FSSC and RI&E management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to bring about behavioural change
- Structured, accurate and problem-solving approach
- Willingness to take on partly hands-on QESH duties during the initial phase
- Preferably experience with process improvement and continuous improvement; proficiency in Dutch
