The QHSE Manager works at a plant in Moerdijk where glass packaging is produced. The role involves developing quality and logistics performance, managing Quality Engineers and a Teamleader Logistics, and maintaining the quality management system. The role also oversees customer, certification and internal audits and leads these improvement initiatives.
What will you do?
- Developing quality and logistics performance within the plant
- Managing, coaching and developing Quality Engineers and a Teamleader Logistics
- Ensuring effective staffing and strengthening quality awareness
- Contributing to plant objectives for safety, quality, delivery reliability, costs and efficiency
- Maintaining customer contact regarding quality, audits, complaints and improvement initiatives
- Developing and maintaining the quality management system
- Preparing for and overseeing customer, certification and internal audits
- Leading improvement projects, following up on complaints and non-conformities, analysing quality data and optimising logistics processes
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) or university-level working and thinking ability, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering or Management
- Leadership, coaching and motivational skills
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive approach to work and the ability to set priorities in hectic situations
- Analytical ability to translate complex issues into practical solutions
- Decisiveness and the ability to distinguish between main and secondary issues
