The QHSE Manager leads a quality team of five colleagues and is responsible for safeguarding and improving product quality. The organisation operates a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and expects you to carry out and coordinate internal and external audits. You report to the Managing Director, are part of the management team and regularly consult with colleagues in the United States.
What will you do?
- Leading the quality team of five colleagues
- Safeguarding and improving product quality
- Monitoring the quality of incoming goods, the production process and the finished product
- Managing and improving the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001
- Improving internal procedures
- Carrying out and coordinating internal and external audits, including at suppliers
- Drawing up supplier requirements
- Acting as the point of contact for quality for internal departments
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level
- At least five years’ experience in improving product quality and building a team
- Experience as an ISO 9001 (lead) auditor
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Perseverance and the ability to initiate changes calmly, accessibly and with an overview
- Good communication skills with people throughout the organisation
- An interest in team development and quality improvement
