About this vacancy
The QHSE Officer supports operational teams in carrying out and improving HSEQ activities within a company that develops and manufactures systems and devices. You carry out inspections, assessments, incident investigations and quality audits, and advise employees and subcontractors on safety and quality.
What will you do?
- Supporting operational teams with HSEQ activities
- Carrying out and documenting inspections and assessments
- Investigating accidents and near misses
- Reporting findings to management
- Co-ordinating and facilitating health and safety training and safety meetings
- Supporting the procurement of safety equipment
- Supporting the performance of JSA's
- Carrying out quality audits and advising on corrective actions
What do they ask?
- Higher professional education (HBO) qualification
- Experience with inspections and audits in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with incident and accident investigations
- Ability to prepare reports and recommend corrective actions
- Good communication skills and an advisory approach towards employees and subcontractors
- Willingness to learn and apply technical product details in safety measures
- Fluency in Dutch
