KMWE Aerospace is looking for a Quality Engineer to oversee quality aspects within the Account Team and in relation to customers, the internal organisation and suppliers. You will manage quality indicators, support Quality Planning, deal with quality escalations and contribute to controlled processes and improvement projects in the aerospace industry.
What will you do?
- Managing quality-related Performance Indicators for customers, the internal organisation and suppliers.
- Managing and developing the vendor rating system and the approved supplier list.
- Preparing Quality Planning and supporting its implementation.
- Managing internal and external quality escalations.
- Carrying out risk analyses and assessing the effectiveness of proposed improvements.
- Carrying out release inspections.
- Qualifying and approving suppliers together with Supply Chain Management.
- Analysing and handling non-conforming goods, NCRs and FAI approvals.
What do they ask?
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics or aircraft engineering.
- 3 to 5 years’ work experience in a relevant working environment, preferably in machining.
- Experience and training in statistical techniques and data analysis.
- Experience with high-quality management systems in the main supplier environment.
- Analytical approach, customer focus and personal authority.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
