Within KUHN Group, the Quality Engineer is the point of contact for product and process quality. The role involves analysing quality issues, carrying out audits, improving processes and structurally resolving deviations and complaints in accordance with ISO 9001 and Lean principles.
What will you do?
- Analysing quality issues relating to products and processes
- Carrying out audits
- Leading improvement teams
- Handling complaints
- Addressing deviations structurally
- Working with R&D, Purchasing, Production and Warehouse
- Applying 8D, FMEA and SPC methodologies
- Contributing to process improvement and quality awareness
What do they ask?
- Approximately five years’ relevant work experience in a quality role
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) degree in mechanical engineering or technical business administration
- Good command of Dutch and English; German is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of quality techniques such as 8D, FMEA and SPC
- Proactive and accurate
- Able to bring others on board with regard to quality awareness
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, preferably at Green Belt level
