Rivertex is looking for a Specialist Quality and Compliance R&D to ensure quality and sustainability within the international R&D and product development environment. You will build a practical quality system, manage LCA and Carbon Footprint calculations, and work with the R&D team in China and international suppliers.
What will you do?
- Setting up and optimising a quality system for products, specifications and test methods.
- Carrying out, managing and updating LCA and Carbon Footprint calculations.
- Checking incoming goods, samples, test results and colour consistency.
- Coordinating with the laboratory in China on test planning and improvement proposals.
- Supporting R&D projects with sustainability data and product knowledge.
- Leading development projects, from product specifications and test plans through to the assessment of trial samples.
- Ensuring the quality of finished products.
What do they ask?
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) qualification in a chemical or materials science discipline, or a completed secondary vocational education (MBO) qualification with several years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control, or with LCA and Carbon Footprint calculations.
- Willingness to continue developing your skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Analytical ability to understand complex test and environmental data.
- Accurate and structured approach to work.
- Strong international communication skills and the ability to bring people together.
- Proactive and practical attitude.
